Chicken Parmesan with Penne
ENTREE: Thaw in refrigerator and cook within two days OR cook from frozen.
COOK FROM THAWED Preheat oven to 375° and spray a pan with nonstick coating. Arrange chicken in single layer and bake on middle rack for 20 min. Turn chicken over and top with sauce and cheese. Continue cook for an additional 15-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through with an internal temp of 165°.
COOK FROM FROZEN Preheat oven to 375° and spray a pan with nonstick coating. Add chicken to pan, place cheese bag on the counter and reseal the outer bag (with the sauce bag inside). Float double-bagged sauce in a dish that has been filled with water. Bake chicken for 30 minutes, turning chicken over halfway through. Remove pan from oven, turn chicken over and add sauce and cheese. Return to oven for an additional 12-14 min or until internal temp is 165°.
DINNER WITH PENNE: Thaw in refrigerator and cook within two days OR cook from frozen. Preheat oven to 375°. Remove lid from pan and turn it over. Place chicken in single layer on lid. Discard foil from top of pasta. Bake both the pan with pasta and the lid with chicken on the middle rack for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken over and stir the pasta. Continue cooking both for an additional 10 minutes (25-30 minutes if cooking from frozen) or until internal temp of chicken reaches 165° and pasta is hot.
