Firecracker Chicken or Shrimp

CUSTOMER FAVORITE! Contrary to the name, we’ve made this mild so that everyone can enjoy it. Extra-large shrimp or all-natural chicken breast pieces are lightly coated, cooked and then tossed in a mild creamy chili sauce. You can use the included packet of hot sauce to kick up the heat if you prefer.

Cooking Instructions

STANDARD RECIPE: Thaw in refrigerator. Once thawed, cook within 1 day (shrimp) or 2 days (chicken). Begin cooking the included rice. Remove chicken/shrimp using tongs and place into breading bag. Seal bag and shake to coat all pieces. Heat 2 Tbs of oil in nonstick pan over med heat, until oil shimmers. Using tongs, add chicken or shrimp in a single layer and cook for 4 minutes (chicken) or 2 minutes (shrimp). Turn and continue cooking until chicken or shrimp are cooked through. Snip corner of sauce bag and squeeze sauce onto cooked chicken or shrimp. Toss to coat. Add Frank’s Red Hot to add spice. Serve with cooked rice.

LIGHTER FIXIN’S: Thaw in refrigerator and cook within 1 day of being thawed (2 for chicken). Begin cooking the included rice. Spray a nonstick pan or use a small amount of oil. Preheat pan over medium heat. Using tongs, add chicken or shrimp in a single layer and cook for 3 minutes (chicken) or 2 minutes (shrimp). Turn pieces over and cook for 3-5min (chicken) or 1-2min (shrimp) or until done. Snip corner of sauce bag and squeeze sauce onto cooked chicken or shrimp. Toss to coat. Add Frank’s Red Hot to add spice. Serve with cooked rice.
