French Toast Casserole

BACK BY DEMAND!  An easy and delicious breakfast or dessert.  Rustic sourdough bread cubes are soaked in a sweetened egg custard and then topped with a brown sugar and cinnamon glaze.  Enjoy it plain or with the included syrup.

Cooking Instructions

Thaw in the refrigerator and cook within 1 day of being thawed OR cook from frozen.

COOK FROM THAWED

  1. Keep pan on counter while preheating oven to 350°.
  2. Remove lid and use back of spoon to spread glaze over the top.
  3. Bake, uncovered, on middle rack for 40-50 min, depending upon how firm you like the consistency.
  4. Serve with the provided syrup (packaged separately).

 COOK FROM FROZEN

  1. Remove lid and keep pan on counter while preheating oven to 400°.
  2. Using back of spoon, spread glaze around the top of the bread mix.
  3. Loosely cover the pan with foil and bake on middle rack for 60 minutes.
  4. Discard foil and bake an additional 5-15 minutes depending upon how firm you want the consistency.
  5. Serve with the provided syrup (packaged separately).
