Cooking Instructions
Thaw in refrigerator for up to 2 days OR cook from frozen (note: takes 2 hours from frozen).
THAWED: Preheat oven to 375°. Remove sauce bag from pan, discard foil.
Pour contents of sauce bag into bottom of pan. Replace lid and cook for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°.
FROZEN: Remove sauce bag and keep on counter (to thaw) while preheating oven to 400˚. Replace lid and bake peppers for 45 minutes. Discard foil, break up sauce in bag and pour into bottom of pan. Replace lid and bake an additional 80 minutes (remove lid during last 10 minutes) or until internal temp reaches 160˚.
Bell peppers vary in skin thickness during different seasons so they may, or may not, become particularly tender during baking.
