Six ounce salmon fillets are flash-marinated, pan-seared, and served with an authentic Japanese sauce of mirin, brown sugar, tamari and seasonings.

Cooking Instructions

Thaw in the refrigerator.  Cook within 1 day of being thawed. Internal temp should reach 145° or fish should flake with fork.

    1. Cook provided rice.
    2. Knead marinade bag to incorporate any sugar that settled.
    3. Place fish fillets into bag and marinate for 5-10 minutes at room temp.
    4. Preheat a large non-stick skillet over med-hi heat (do not add oil).
    5. Once hot, place salmon fillets in pan (keep marinade).
    6. Sear salmon for a few minutes and then carefully turn fillets over.
    7. Add marinade and ½ CUP OF WATER to pan.
    8. Continue to cook for 3-7 minutes or until salmon pulls apart with fork (you can add 1+ Tbs of water to pan if sauce is becoming too thick.
    9. Serve over cooked rice.
